Yes, A credit card deposit is required. The deposit is used as a temporary authorization, and payment is settled when the vehicle is returned.
Credit Card Holders

- Standard vehicles: $500 deposit; SUV: $750Â Jeeps /Vans $900 -$1200
- Example: If your car rental is $175, the amount authorized at pickup will be $500Â
- The authorization is a temporary hold on your credit card, not an additional charge. The deposit portion is released after the vehicle is returned, subject to any applicable charges.
Debit Card Holders
- Debit Card Holders
- For sedan models, a $750 payment is processed on your debit card.
- Your rental cost is deducted from this amount, and the remaining balance is refunded after the vehicle is returned, subject to any applicable charges. The deposit for larger vehicles is as follows: SUV $900, Jeeps and Vans: $1,200
- Example: If you use a debit card for your sedan rental and your reservation total is $350, a payment of $750 will be processed on your debit card prior to arrival. Upon returning the vehicle, the $350 rental cost will be deducted, and the remaining $400 will be refunded back to your debit card, provided there are no additional charges or damages.
- Luxury and specialty vehicles may have different deposit requirements. Exemptions may also apply for long-standing customers.
